i have come across a few threads where they offer diagrams and instructions on how to make your own lights. i was wondering if anyone has any gotten the instructions from them and if they could pass them along to me.

ya the plans i am most interested in are the ones that function with respects to the servos. someone gave me the mercury switch one but ive tried using mercury switches before in other functions. the breaklights would proly end up coming on when i let go of the gas.

If you want brake lights without a mercury switch, you'r going to need some sophisticated piece of electronics to sit between the throttle/brake channel and the throttle/brake servo. It's not simple because you have to read the pulses comming off the control line and act appropriately. So it's not a simple sodering job.
I swear that I've seen light kits where it was a brake-light controller and a failsafe all in one.
I think I found it with a quick google search:

I searched for RC Brake lights if you want to try yourself.
