From: Allen, TX,
I made the mistake of buying a smartech nitro buggy. STUPID of me I now realize. I would like to know where I can get higher quality replacement parts, specifically the clutch, bell housing and two speed tranny. The original clutch and bell housing flew apart while running across a smooth parking lot and tore up the tranny in the process. This car was near new when this happened and I can't get any help from the loser I bought it from on e-bay. This was Christmas present for my son and he has hardly had the chance to use it. I have checked out several online sources which carry Smartech parts, but the tranny appears to be unavailable and I do not know of any others that will work in its place.

Thanks all the same, I'm sure someone has the info I need.
I'm into quads as well. 1 foreman 450, 2 rubicons and 1 rincon. Sorry to say I've got strokers.
happy trails,
Tod

How do you like the rincon? My neighbor has a rubicon, and i rode it once, and it is a SWEET machine. I liked it a lot. The 98 that it says in the signature is actually my dads(havent updated it), but this summer i got my own truck, and its a 94 4x4 automatic dodge with a cummins, and i really like it other than the tranny. What kind of strokers do you have? Do you have any mods done to them(chip, box, intake, exhaust?). I really like all diesels
. I think the 7.3l powerstroke is a very good motor, but that new 6.0l is the one i dont like because of the troubles theyve had so far, but maybe theyll get them figured out before to long. Talk to you later.

From: Allen, TX,
The Rincon is nice, though I haven't had the chance to really challenge it yet. Too busy with work/family. I put some ITP 589s on it for the mud puddles. They seem to chunk the mud pretty good. My son in law ripped through a muddy field and was nearly knocked off from football size mud clod to the head.
I've got 99' f-350 4x4 crew cab dually w/ a P-stroke, a couple mid 90's f-350s and a 03 f-650 w/ CAT.
I haven't heard much good about the new 6.0 either. They may get it dialed though. Sounds like it could be a good engine if they can make it right.
