add a new motor/engine(depending on electric or nitro)lower turns means more speed but lower run times and a itll run hotter, higher winds means more top end speed. upgrade tires sometimes helps. add bearings if you dont already have them. if its an electric get an esc. look into a 2 speed transmission if nitro. if its an electric you could upgrade to more cells(but remember, it will run hotter and have less time unless you get a higher mAh pack) if you get a lower suspension package then it may run faster. a more aerodynamic body. all around lighter components(shock towers, suspension arms, etc..) try graphite or aluminum.

did i miss anything?

2 speed means 2 speed forward. there are only a few nitro kits that let you go in reverse and i think thats useless unless your goin offroad. try [link=http://www.towerhobbies.com]towerhobbies[/link]. very good with their customers and many parts to choose from.
