Default Engine problems...Compression?

Hi,
Ive got a Kyosho Landmaxx 2 with a .21 engine. It worked fine for ages until the threads for my glow plug in the cylinder head got a bit messed up. Now my engine runs for a short period of time and then stops, It also stops after full throttle and sometimes during.
It is not a mixture problem...could it be the compression? Could the glow plug not be tight enough due to crappy screw threads?
I would be grateful to hear any of your thoughts on the matter.
thanks!

just replace your glow plug. they do wear out and im sure thats all the problem is. you have a worn out glow plug and its not staying heated. just go out and spend like 3$ and your problem is solved.

Nah its not the plug...just bought it new a novarossi something. The thing is my glow plugs dont really fit into the cylinder head properly...due to the damaged threads ( of the cylinder heads ). Could this be the problem...do I have to invest in a new cylinder head?

do you have good compression? do you see any fuel bubbles around the plug when turning the engine?
