I'm Kind of new to the r/c world lol. but what i dont understand is the different 7.2 battery packs whats the difference between a 1700 mah and a 2400 mah. Wasn't never good in eletronic's lol which one is faster?

OK AT RAIDO SHACK YOU CAN BUY TWO DIFFERENT 7.2 PACKS ONE SAYS 2000 MAH AND ONE SAYS 3000 MAH MAX THE 3000 MAH MAX ONE GAVES ME MORE POWER SAO IF YOU SAYING THE 3K ONE GAVES ME MORE TIME BUT WHY DOES IT GAVE ME MORE SPEED?

Speed really depends on voltage, not capacity (mh). A 2400 pack has longer run times than a 1700 pack. Real ex*****ve race packs may provide slightly more voltage (above 7.2v with a full charge) which is why they often go a bit faster.
The difference in speed between a fully charged Radio Shack 1700 and 2400 would most likely be negligable. The run time would vary though.

The 1700 MAh mean 1.7 amp hours, it could with a full charge sustain a 1.7 amp load for 1 hour while maintaining a voltage of 7.2. The higher the mah, the longer it can sustain the max charge.
