From: Staten Island, NY,
I just bought the superbrain 959. Im going to using it to charge 6v 1100-1400 receiver packs. Im pretty sure the amps should be around .5 - 1 but what about the peak threshold setting? Also do these 6v packs come charged, because as soon as I hooked it up to the charger it read at least 6v and kept going up a little at a time. So a fully charged 6v pack when fully charged will show up with how much higher on the chargers digital read out? thanks

So If I hook it up to the charger and the read out shows 7.0v for a 6.0V that doesnt neccesarily mean its fully charged until I peak it? Also what does that the little smiley face icon mean on the LCD screen as well as the small rectangle with black bars in it. Is that rectangle what tells me how charged the battery is by the number of bars?..thanks

I am unsure about your specific charger but I always charge my packs at 1 amp. For the MV setting, I have found that different packs like different settings but they usually fall between the 5mv and 10mv setting.
