If you think you can beat my stampede at 1/4 throttle, then i hope your ready to be put to shame. I will KILL you off the line. You might get me on top-end, but other than that, you had better watch out. Lets go fourwheeling after that, and then your nitro can sit there and get loaded up with gas, and die, and not have enugh torque to pull the hills. Then if you still havent had enough, ill pull out the t-maxx and whip you a while. Nitro is awesome(i have a t-maxx), but i will not bash electrics by any means. There is not 1 thing wrong with them.

cummins..ya know what.. I had some sounds coming from my tranny as well. i took it apart and...on the inside of the gear casing, were raised burrs, like, in every little crevice in the case.., also actually on some of the gears too, I ground them out with a stone on my dremel and it doesn't make the noises anymore.

Wuzz upp ?I just got an Evader BX a week or so ago. So far I'm loveing it except for a few little minor bugs [
]first off ditch the steering servo . Mine stripped off most of the the teeth on the final gear on ths stock servo after flipping a bunch of times over
a tree root
OPPS .I've heard the servo was to frail for the job . thats for sureI just put a TrinityRC2123Chameleon motor and now I CAN'T even keep the knobs on my tires cuz the motor rips em right off the tire
OH SUCH FUN !!!

Check out this web site, has some great Evader tips. Check out the stock servo saver fix, I did this to mine and have yet to strip out the gears after a couple months of bashing and racing.

Simply setting the servo saver a little looser works wonders, mine was set really tight out of the box. I've had a few crashes that popped off the steering link ball cups; and my servo is still fine.

Its most likely the motor. Electric motors of this type are not meant to last a long time. You could try to get new motor brushes, but I doubt that would help much. You'll probably need a new motor. If you liked the photon motor (when it was working), you can get another [link=http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXAMC2&P=ML]here[/link].

i thoguht it was the motor too, but when i would put the battery in when i got it, when i would turn the switch on, the front wheels would turn straight and line up imediately, but now they don't do that, so i figured it had to be something other than the motor, but i'm not sure

Ah, I bet you burnt your ESC up. If you can't move the wheels at all when it is turned on, that is probably what happened. Same thing happened to me, and a couple other people on here. That esc is rated at 20t (which is what the photon is) and if you run a couple packs back-to-back through it, it will be too much for it. I replaced the esc with the Intellispeed 8t, and it works great now.

You can get it [link=http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXAXU0&P=ML]here[/link] for 69.99. If you don't want to spend that much money, and don't plan on using such low turn motors, you can spend as little as 29.99 for [link=http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXAXT7&P=7]this one[/link]. It supports a 20t motor, but doesn't have reverse. If you are going to race at a track, you can't use reverse anyway. You'll probably will want a better one than that, but I thought I'd tell ya.

I read on the internet that in order to break the photon 20t motor in you have to use a 4-5 volt power source and with no load can anyone tell me what this means. thanks
