I am building my first kit, and the instructions say I need locktite threadlocker, but since I am new at this, I don't know when and how it should be used. FYI, my kit is mostly plastic -- HPI RS4 Rally. Can you give me any construction tips?

Only when you are putting something together that is metal to metal. Other than that, take your time and read directions, its not hard. You first may be a bit of a challenge but after that, you will never want another RTR again, kits are just more user friendly because you built it so you know how to fix it. Good luck

But in general, you're only supposed to use it when you're putting a metal screw through a metal part? And how much do you use? How do you apply it? Do you put it directly on the screw, or on the part you're putting the screw through?
