Dont worry, When I was your age I didnt have a job and I wanted sooo many things. The time will come, you just have to be patient and wait. Then you'll wish you were a kid again.. I wish I was.

You should be so lucky.
I'm 18 and I know how you feel. I don't know what the laws regarding jobs are in LA, but when I was old enough (16), I went straight out and got a job. Now, I've just finished Sixth Form and for the last year I've been earning £220 a month - about $400. I wouldn't be suprised if you are earning the same in not too long a time, so don't worry, your time will come and soon, like me, you'll have way too many r/c projects going to afford!
