Default help receiver problems

I have a different problem my receiver do not work to good when I start my engine but when the engine is off then I have no problem controlling the servos at all but when I turn on the engine then I lost signal may be 10 feet’s a way from me plus the servos are acting. Doing things by there self turning the wheels, accelerating, stopping, I can hardly control the car, only when I near I can controlled a little bit.
Please help.

check inside of your reciever for a loose connection. some times the capacitors in the recievers come loose. Or you may also a some kind of metal to metal vibration in you car check and make sure your tuned pipe isnt touching the chassis or check and see if your reciever isnt touching and thing metal such as the chassis plate.

salva1996 - It sounds to me your radio is glitching when your engine is on (assuming that you have nitro). Check to make sure you don't have metal to metal contact. Check your clutch bell to ensure it is not touching your flywheel (in addition to what gs-sonic-racer mentioned). How about rx/tx battery? Sometimes, glitching can be caused by bad set of crystal. Also, do the radio range check (with your engine off).

Hope you did not run the truck after it went swimming. I would open the rx to make sure there are no water residue in there and to let the components dry out. If it still acts up afterwards, new rx might be in order.

Well, you got some disassembling/cleaning to do. Don't let the water sit in the engine.
