I'm working on a pordject [8D] . Don't laugh , i'm working on a $30 1/16 nikko dode viper that runs on 6 AA's [X(] . I think they had them in walmart a year ago [&:] . I have taken out all da stuff ecsept the sterring motor and rideg it up so insted of useing AA's i'm useing a 7.2 volt 900 mah battary [8D] . My uncle is doing the same ting and he has some kide of 1/8 1988 nass car . We will race soon and I have to win somehow . I'v spyed a little and it an't that fast , about 15 mph . So i need to get to work , one catch though . I can't by hobby shop parts or order on line . there ant a hobby shop within 55 miles or so and my dad won't let me buy anything of the internet . [ I'm only 15 ] I do have a spare 380 from my dead firebird xl but im not shore that will do the trick [X(] . I need a motor and radio sytem I'm ceeping the stock stering motor . I only have a radio shack and a walmart not a super walmart . I need parts . Is tare anything I can get from shack that can help me [] ?? I don't care about what kind of radio system I get as long as its cheap , im on a bubget of $35 . I don't care if it dosent have speed catrol or revers [sm=sleeping.gif] . I need to at least get to 15 mph some how . [sm=confused.gif]

Speed, huh? go with a new motor, go to www.towerhobbies.com and buy a Micro Modified Stock Motor, it's $10 and will up the speed a lot, I had one in my 1/18 scale micro kit by HPI and it did about 25-30 MPH with that in it...

How fast do you think I can go with a 380 ? The car waighs about 2-2/5 ib .

if you still have about 100-150 dollars a castle creations brushless system might be the way to go, it can have that car going as fast as a nitro buggy....

Yeah that Micro Modified Motor will push that cheap little truck to about 20-22 MPH, pretty decent.... Also, if you haven't though about it, you may wanna switch out the servo for a stronger, more efficient one...

It's the truth . I can't use my dads credit card becase a while back someone somehow bought some stuff $750 off of walmart.com that we had to pay for .I'm for real !!
