Default Building RC Track?

Anyone have some suggestions or pictures of their track layout? Would like to built a large dirt track for offroad trucks (both electric and nitro). Would like some straight aways, moguls, a few ramps etc. Was thinking of using landscaping timbers (too prevent the dirt from washing away) to outline the track and fill it almost level with black dirt, and shape the moguls etc. Would then have something like grade 5 dirt for top layer to bring it level with top of landscape timbers. Would divide course up with the 10"-12" black plastic drain tubing.

Any thoughts or recommendations? I'm pretty new to the RC car/trucks. Thanks!

Well I used a bobcat for my track... its finished but I gotta beat the dog that keeps digging my jumps to hell. As it is I have a trap setup for him... be the last i hear from him too.

Anywho... I went with a kidney bean shape, basically it looks like a "B" I have a table on the stretch and also a double. On each of the loop turns, there are a set of jumps, and one has a tall ski jump. Its a fast track, it just needs some work because of that dog.

Just throw some dirt around...start from there.

We've changed our track 3 times this year...and the design continues..
