my friend lend me a novak 410-hp no limit esc and also an 11 turn double motor that we don't know whose the manufacturer... what happend is that the motor actually smoked during the time were trying to test if the motor is still fine... it smelled like wd-40 or whatever... anyway i tried to connect it to a series of 8 nlight batteries (the ones you use for small flashlights) and it still smokes... same smell as before... but the motor is turning we just dont know what is wrong... since its rebuildable we opened it up and cleaned the whole thing and replace it with a new pair of brushes and same thing [:@].. but the motor is running fine... any idea guys?.. How long has the motor been sitting? There is probably a nice glaze that formed on the comm. It could also be from the fact you are running it on 9.6v. Not a smart thing to do.

that's the thing... no problem with the performance... its not even overheating when we race... it just smokes... the can has a name (almost faded)... it says twister... i noticed the motor can doesn't have that much of holes for heat exhaust... it just scares me when the motor smokes... but everything else is fine... the scary part is that it might just blow something up...
