Hello everybody, Im very new with RC cars but i got a very nice one on ebay. I have everything needed to start the car. Torque-start, Glow plug starter, Trinity monster fuel. But I pretty much have no idea *** iam doing =/. What i have done so far is put the gas in the tank then i took the torque start and put the car ontop of it and pushed it down so the wheel would spin and "start the car" but all it does is make a VRRROOMMM noise and the car never starts. im not really sure what to do with the glow plug starter. please help. yes i know I am a noob
. this is the item # of the car i bough on Ebay 5911037749. Please help me, im very excited to get my car up and running. Thank you.

First make sure the glow plug igniter is charged or has a new battery then it gets put on the glow plug that is in the hole in the engine head it should clamp around it, then when you push down on your torq start make sure the wheel of it and the flywheel of your engine engage. Let the starter spin up to speed then let your flywheel bump it to turn it over. Hope this helps alittle.

what do you mean bump it to turn it over? I hope my battery is full in my glow plug starter. that may be the reason why. Thanks for the help. If i cant get it started today, I think im just going to bring it to the local hobby story and see whats up. Thanks again

Bump it means just let the flywheel hit the starter to make it turn the engine over. Yes when you turn the steering wheel your wheels turn, check all connections and batteries , make sure that your throttle and steering work before you fire it up or else your looking at a posible run away.( definatly no good)

Have you primed the engine with gas yet?
The best thing to do is engage the torque start on the flywheel as you would to start it, Then cover the exhaust with your thumb. Watch the fuel line, the fuel should start to travel up and reach the engine once the fuel has reached engine keep holding the exhaust going for about 2-3 seconds you may have to go for a little longer as I'd imagine it'd be pretty dry. Don't leave it for too long or you'll flood it tho.

you may also want to pull out your glow plug (looks like a mini spark plug) and make sure it works, and by that, if you hold the threaded part and then put the igniter on the other side. it should light up right away. if not you either have a bad plug or no charger on the starter.

Thanks everyone for the responses. I took everything to the hobby store and got a new battery for the car chargers for both the glow plug igniter and the batery itself. The car is AWESOME! Now all I have to do is get good at driving. Thanks again everyoen for helping a noob like myself =D.
