I would appreciate it if you guys could please help me with my shock setup. Right now I am running 50wt shock oil in my evader st. I am sick of it being so tough it has no plush, but it offers no bottoming out. I am debating on wheter using 20, 25, or 30 wt shock oil. I want plenty of plush but I want the least bottoming out possible even to obtain good traction and handling with the shock oil. I need a couple of people to help me so I can decide overall.
Thanks alot, Shredder111[>:]

Hellowhy not try 20 or 30 wt oil and try some differnt springs[:-]

You might be ok with the 50wt if you use the lighter springs. I typically run 35-40wt in my evader with white springs. The heavier oil keeps things from totally dragging bottom, but the lighter springs soften up the ride.

I typically tune damping with different shock pistons...there's 40wt oil in ALL my shocks. if you have a pin vice and a tiny drill bit...you can drop $2 on 8 shock pistons and be just fine

OOOOOH, ok. I still say swap shock pistons. cheaper than buying a bottle of shock fluid. and run either HPI blue springs or AE red springs, or whatever the stiff Losi springs are.
