Hey all,
I just ran in my Savage SS and am wondering how to adjust for a tighter turning circle. I dont think Im getting full power from the steering servo. It's a Futaba S9405, which the guy in the shop said was fine for a Savage (and cost about $60). The car is pulling left also. I tried the steering trim on the transmitter but that didnt help. If i turn the truck upside down with the radio on the wheels settle to the left when not steering. If i adjust them straight with the trim then Im at full, 100%, trim and can no longer turn the wheels left, only right.
Im wondering if its to do with the way I have the steering attached to the servo. Could the plastic attachment on top of the servo need removing and replacing in a more central position?
Also I have stripped 3 spur gears in the first 2.5 tanks. I read up on how to fit them, with the strip of paper test an all and it helped, I got 1.5 tanks out of the last one before it stripped on one side. What else should I be doing? Can I expect to be replacing these as often as I fill the tank? It was great fun while it lasted, cant wait to get back out there. If you have any further tips or suggestions please help.
Thanks in advance

wow, sounds like your engines sliding, or your gear rations are extrmemly wrong, or your not putting it on correctly. there is some logical explination for all of this that is happening to you. it just doesny happen for no reason. try to go back and check every think from the tightness of the cluch bell to the engine mount.
