Have you owned any electric R/C's?? If not I would start there, at least in my opinion. I got an Electric Evader that I am still learning about, like how to drive and how to replace broken parts. I couldnt have gotten a nitro b/c of the noise and I wanted to start off with an electric.

My first hobby grade rc is an electric rustler which is sitting under the christmas tree. Anywho, I saw how much good feedback that the electric rustler got and how much duribility traxxas claims it has so thats why i chose it. Ive have some experience driving but never fixing or tuning so that's why I turned to electric. On my nikko truck I couldnt even find out how to take the body off. I still dont but I dont think you are supposed to take the body off. ANWAYZ, I would go with a stadium truck because you can use them to race when you need to and I j*think* that they make for some good bashers. Your choice depends on some things. Do you plan on racing or just bashing. If you want to race then maybe a rustler isnt the choice for you. I heard that there are better choices for a car if you are looking for racing. I guess that you want a off-road car so thats what I based this post on.

Theirs also the [link=http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXJH00**&P=0]Nitro Sport[/link] which is $50 cheaper than the rustler.

Fuel, what kind can you get for free.
If youre thinking you can just put unleaded gasoline in a nitro car, then you got another thing coming. Nitro cars run off special model fuel (glow fuel) which is a about $15 a gallon.
