I have been looking for a Novarossi ns15s5 engine online for days. I have read all about them and read people have them but I cannot find one anywhere to buy (atleast on the 100's of sites I have checked). Every dealer or hobby store I have checked carries all the other models but nobody has this one particular I am looking for. Does anyone have any info on where to buy this motor???? I am completely frustrated!!!! Any help would be greatly appreciated...Thanks
One more question for the motor guys... I am looking for a high rpm high power motor. This is the reason for choice of the Novarossi (.15 w/ 1.8 hp & 43,500 rpm). But how about the trx 2.5r??? I know it spins almost 50,000 rpm but what about HP??? Is the trx 2.5r a good motor??? Any comparrison between it and the novarossi??? Any info would be great... Thanks again

trx2.5 ain't gonna spin at no 50,000 rpm even at no load. And the ns15s5 isn't hitting no 43,000rpm in a car. Those RPM ratings are deceiving.
Just look at the HP rating and don't assume any engine makes more than 33,000rpm. If you're calculating gearing for a given speed, use the 30,000 rpm assumption. It's realistic.
Also, I believe the S3 and S5 series engines have been discontinued. But i could be wrong. I know novarossi hasn't had much distribution in the US since they dropped team trinity as their importer. I heard some other company is planning, or may have started importing the engines.
Also, there's A LOT better engine than the TRX2.5...get something italian.

Which enigines would you recommend?? I am puttig the enigine into a brand new serpent impulse pro. A few hop ups have been done but it is preety much how it came from serpent. I need a strong motor to run up against the impact (235mm car) that has a .21 in it. So I need a good powerplant for a motor not some slouch that wont get out of its own way. I love Novarossi motors but like i said i cannot find this particular or the decissions would be over. But any other help or motor reviews are greatly appreciated. Thanks guys
