I was reciently browsing ebay and I came across a car looked at it then moved on. well then I saw the same exact item agian farther doun the page. both are separate ebay item numbers but sold by the same person. The auction is for a whole bunch of stuff and a cupple of used cars. and he has it listed twice!!! what is up with this. wonder if it is a mistake or a scam.

how far a part are the auctions?
if they are right next to each other that most likely it was a mistake
ask him if it was a mistake?
what his seller info (%)
every acution gets a diffrent item number, that is normal.

he could also have duplicates of the item. there are often times peaople on e-bay that buy items in bulk and start individual auctions for each of the same item.

well whatever the "forum police" have to say - it seems you have found a way to beat the e-b-a-y filter by linking to the search page rather than the item its self.... cunning. very very cunning.

i would definately be a bit wary, for a start he has lots of spare parts, which judging by the photos, have been used, he also has a good few things that he does "after every run." yet says he has only had it for 2 weeks.
might just be me but sounds a bit suspicious.

It must have been a mistake - sometimes that happens when the eBay system glitches as you submit a listing. (it's happened to me before) He only has one listing now, so someone must have let him know.
