Default Wheel Sizes

Hi,

I'm building a nitro racer from scratch to compete in the formula schools competition in the uk.

I wonder if anyone can tell me the outside diameter of various wheels and tyres which would be suitable for tarmac racing.

I'm after something about 95mm (outside diameter of tyre), I have been told that 1/10th are usually about 65mm (which is too small) - can anyone tell me what the outside diameter of 1/8th tyres is (the ones I have seen all seem too big but maybe that's because they are on buggies).

Basically I want to be pointed in the direction of cheapish wheels and tyres about 95mm outside diameter.

Thanks in advance.

John

HPI Supersize are around the size you're looking for (I think), or you could try the new Schumacher Menace GTR for size.
