Default Need help identifying a car

Hi,
I was recently at a swap meet an picked up this car for $20! It came with a Novak ESC nd futaba radio gear. The guy didn't know what kinda car it was but for $20, there had to be somthing good on there. I need help figuring out what kinda car it is. It has a fiberglass chassis and upper-deck. I have found no way to identify it. I think it is kinda old because the rdio had the old style connector ( male connector on receiver). It is verry fast though. I put an new radio in it as you can see.
If anyone knows what kinda car it is it would be much appreciated!

Also, I was wondering if anyone had specs on the ESC (motoer turn limit specificaly). I found out it is a NESC-4 from Novak. It is from 1988.

I'm not much of a touring car guy, but that car looks like it may have started life as an AE 12 or 10 L carpet racer.
$20 bucks for any rc that has any equipment is a good deal
Take care,
Jay

No, the VSM didn't come with it. With a crappy Team Orion Rush 19t motor, it hits 28mph. It is a blast to drive. The GP3300 pack doesn't want to fit in it's slot, time ta grind

Oh, and it is a 1/12 scale
