im am trying to get the head off of my 15 fe motor, the screws are just about stripped and still in there tight. any tips are a help

Are you putting a new header on?

im going to be putting a new head on, i already have a performance header.

I have never done this but a guy that races with me has said that he outs his in the oven for a bit , this might help .If not try to sray some WD 40 on them and let it soak in this works on my real car on stuck bolts.
