Default Multiple Tanks

I was wondering If you could hook up 2 gas tanks on a truck at once. Is there some kind of joint that branches from the carb into 2 for 2 gas tanks? Or could you connect the fist tank normally and then connect the second to that tank and then the second to the pipe? Would the fuel in the second one get used?

I plan on getting the mammoth so there would be room.

BTW, anyone know what kind of runtimes a stock mammoth gets?

Not that hard to do actually. The main thing would be that the tanks are the same size and drain equally if it's to extend runtime or it'll lean out when one tank is empty.

when you do this does your fuel tubing need to be exactly the same length? you know what i mean, tubing from tanks to T's. do they need to be cut to match so the tanks will drain evenly? if one tube is longer than the other it would throw off the pressure rate would it not?

what i was told to do(and it works) is have the first tank connected to the carb and the seconds fuel pickup connected to the 1st pressure thing and connect the 2nd pressure thing to the exhaust. hope that makes sense

I've run multiple tank setups for years. You run the pressure line from the tank to the pressure fitting on the first tank. You run the fuel line from the first tank to the pressure fitting on the second tank. Finally, the fuel fitting on the second tank goes to your carburetor.

thits is the way to do it w/out the t couplers.

this is how the line routing should go
bottom (gas feed) of stock tank to carb.
bottom (gas feed) of 2nd tank to the top (pressure feed) of first tank.
top (pressure feed) of 2nd tank to the pipe.

And that way would there be a problem with it leaning out after the first tank, or the second not feeding, or would it drain like one big tank?

(Nobody knows mammoths run time?)

It drains like 1 big tank. More specifically, it drains the tank connected to the carburetor last (it stays full until the auxilary tank is empty). There's no issue with leaning out.
