i have an onroad nitro car i was wonder what would happen if i positioned the pipe so that the stinger was facing more towards the ground.i was thinking if i did that i would not have to cut holes in the side of my bodies.would this decrease performance or anything like that??

i do it on my xxx-nt
it also helps keeping the body some what clean
just turn the pipe down towards the ground

Good idea, although you might loose a bit of traction on one of the rear wheels as the oil reduces the grip betwen the tyre and the road, could make car setup very difficult if there is one wheel which always has less traction than the others. It could also put the stinger in danger of being knocked off as it would be lower to the ground and rocks etc, although the chance of it being destroyed by another car hitting you would be reduced.

it wouldnt effect the performance but all the oil will be in your car and in your body instead of outstide and if you hit a rock or something hard and big enough it might damage/dent the stinger wich does effect the performance

i also have a pipe that doesnt have a stinger it is a peice of rubber tube
you might want to think about rear exhaust
