[:@][:@] hello all
my electric motor is a 7 turn double and it keeps making the battery hot and all the connections are starting to melt i have a no motor limit lrp esc and i bought one of those mini cooling fans yesterday will this help and if you have any suggestions please tell me i will be appriciate it.

Is the slipper too tight? And is the motor geared correctly?

Have you cut the comm, changed the brushes, and cleaned the motor?

If you are using the stock battery connectors such as the Tamiya's, GET RID of them. Use Deans connectors. With that much amp draw you'll melt the stock connectors, which in time will melt your batteries.

yeh the motor is brand new and no it isnt too tight ill give it a thourough check through and change my connectors thanks Widdy and all of you youve bin a great help.
