the stock micros outa the box are stupid slooooooww but dont worry jus spend 25$ and get a speed 300 and a motor plate and it will be as fast as you want it trust me its ballistic with a 300 in it,you will also have to buy steel pinions and steel universals for the front and eiether a frnt oneway or ball diff the front stock diff keeps self destructing with the bigger motor but they are great little cars handle better than the mini zs(still have not seen one even come close to my micro) faster than brp's and theres more stuff out there for em,and this is from a guy who dislikes hpi!

I was also considering buying one of these. I am wondering though, is there any aftermarket parts to convert one to an off road type car. I would prefer a car with some good shocks, a little ground clearance, and some knobby tires. Or do they make a model that is off road? I realize they're small so the ground clearance would be minimal at best but I don't know if I want to buy a car that can only be run on relatively smooth surfaces and I would like to have one this size.

yea you could try to make it offroad but i doubt that will work that would be real cool if HPI coudl make an offraod one. so far ive made my mind up foir the RS4 Micro. im gona get a mod motor and a trinity 6 cell micro battery pack. if i get a new motor do i have to buy a new motor mount or no? if so thats ok then just wondering bc it would save me some dough if i dont have to thanks.
