Hey guys, it's too bad that K&B increased the price on their .18 buggy engine. I broke the throttle on my .15 engine in a Losi XXXNT a couple months ago and didn't really see an opportunity to get to my lhs (180 miles) for a while, so put this K&B in it to keep running. It kicks!!! I was really impressed with the bottom - mid power in this engine. Really glad I had it laying around. But i bought it when they were $69.95 US from K&Bs web site, now they've gone up to $89.95!! I don't race exept with a couple buddys and mostly bash around so I don't need a really expensive engine. If you're looking for a reasonably priced (here anyway) engine, then I would consider one of these. They are easy to break in and tune and so far it seems durable. I guess time will tell? How much life are you die hards getting out of the average engine?
