Hi,
Just read your cry for help re the dousing you gave your model. The servos will only respond from a direct command from the rx (receiver) so I would suggest that this is where the problem lies.
You could take the cover off the receiver and carefully dry the components with a hair dryer or just let it dry naturally in a warm atmosphere (shouldn't be too much of a problem in Calif.) The only other link is the switch that powers up your onboard electrics. Dry this as per above, you shouldn't have to strip this little thing, just give it a spray with WD40 or another water repellent.
Hope this helps you sort out the problem. Hopefully no permanent damage will have been caused.

Don't even think about putting batteries in it for a week.
I would trust anything electric to sit underwater for an hour and then dry for a week and still work. As long as it's not an ESC or something that fries becuase you tried to use it with water inside.

Its nitro combatcm. So the only problem you should have is your reciever and servos. I would just plan on replacing them, plus if any water got in your motor its done for most likely. Take off the glow plug and turn it upside down and see if any water comes out. Hope this helps.

Yea, open the recievers up, servo's, (to put it easily... anything that runs on electric power.)
Let it dry over night, and if still nothing works you might need a new RX, but to be sure I'd take it to your local hobby shop and have them check it out.

yeah, just like everybody says dry it pretty good,.. hope that when u put back the battery then it did cause any short circuit ,,they u'll be fine....
u can cover with dielectric silicone compound the reciever circuit board to prevent rust, moisture just like the rc boaters doin....
