first of all, why do you want to lock it? the only reason i can think of is if youre going to be rock climbing but a rustler isnt ment for that. i would just leave it how it is unless it absolutly necesary but remember that it puts a ton of strain on the drive shafts and tranny.

you must be on some pretty rough terrain! (by the way, nice job giving up the radio shacker). im not positivly sure on how to lock the diff for the rustler, (its a gear diff, right?), but i think a thicker grease would help. but remember, im not sure!

Put some 100k diff fluid in it. it is not totally lock up but close. also you can clean it out with Automotive break cleaner to clean it out and change it to a lower viscosity. If you want to lock it up totally use silly putty you can also remove it.

lol he doesnt have it anymore. my radioshacker crashed into it and ripped it in half
shows how bad it was since mine was a 27T motor and utter crap everythingelse
but if i had my rustler back then, i would have driven circles around his...and on his

yep, you couldve just driven over on top of his. but craking it in half cause of a small impact? i forgot how weak those things are, cause believe me, i was sooooo noobish at one point i actually played with those!
