Pro 4 weak diffs?

Pro 4 weak diffs?
I've heard rumors the Pro 4 has weak diffs. Has anyone had a problem with this? I'm thinking of updating my touring car. But I have enough "fun" dealing with my Savage and its break-o-matic diffs. I don't need a tourer with the same problem.

In the beginning when the kit first came out the pro 4 had a problem with the diffs. HPI addressed this problem and made beefier diff gears for the pro4 (ver. 1.1 I think they are called). If you buy a kit that still has the old gears, I believe you can contact HPI and they will send you the new ones. If nothing else make sure that the gears are shimmed properly.

thanks for the info. I've been reading that the pro-4 is a very fast/quick turning car. I guess I'll find out after christmas. Looks like my tc3 is gonna get a hv5800 B/L and a rally conversion.
