Im just starting to get into electric road cars with a tiny budget of U$250.Right now im considering the HPI RTR (Sprint or sumting) and the Kyosho pure ten(used , friend's).
the hpi is at my limit but the kyosho is at 170.I dont know which to choose cos i was thinking i could use the money i saved(by taking the kyosho) to upgrade n learn in the process...so i guess it's down to quality right?
which would u guys recommend?thanks in advance.

hey if you want to go nitro, i know of a few entry-level cars/trucks for under 250 bucks. I have the Duratrax Street Force GP and i know how you can get it for 251 (i hope u can spare the buck)! I have the street force and it rocks. I have had no problems with it and ive had it for 2 months. Go to this link http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LL6526&P=1 and see for yourself the great features this car has for a LOW price. The page shows the pre-built version of the street force (no radio system, glow starter), but click on "build your own combo" and select the cheapest items for each category, and the total should be $251. If you can spend a few extra bucks, I would get the AM Futaba 2PHKA radio system, because it has better features (dual rate steering) which is a HUGE plus for a car that goes 50 mph. (trust me, i got it and it helps a LOT). The prebuilt version of the car requires assembly of the other parts from the "build you own combo" feature, but I am 13 and I installed it all without a problem. Also, you get a free video that shows you how to start, breakin and tune your engine which is helpful. Installation takes about an hour to an hour and a half, but its worth it for the price. I hope this info helps...any questions/comments e-mail me at [email protected] Good luck!
