I'M NEW TO NITRO AND LOOKING TO GET MY FIRST TRUCK I HAVE RACED 1/10TH ELECTRIC FOR ABOUT 15 YEARS WITH A FAR FROM STOCK RC10
I'M NOT REALLY LOOKING TO GET BACK INTO RACING BUT DON'T WANT A TOY. I'M JUST LOOKING FOR A QUALITY TRUCK THAT CAN HANDLE WELL, TAKE A GOOD BEATING AND MAKE ME SAY "OH YEA" I'VE LOOKED A LOT ON THE INTERNET AND HAVE NARROWED MY SEARCH TO EITHER THE GENESIS LE OR THE REVO...... HENCE THE TITLE APPLES TO ORANGES 1/10TH VS 1/8TH SMALL BLOCK VS BIG BLOCK I SEE A LOT ON THE REVO BUT NOT SO MUCH ON THE GENESIS ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED

Ok, so you are looking for a fun runner/basher. Either one would suffice.

I like using my Local Hobby Shop (LHS). So, I would get whichever one they support better. My LHS support the Revo and not the Genesis, so I would probably get a Revo just based on that. Then again, I love my LHS and want them to stay in business, so I don't do much mail order/internet part ordering. If you don't care/don't like your LHS and plan to get parts mailed to you, then just get the one YOU like better.

Both are great trucks, the gen le looks so cool rumbling over bad terrain.
The cen does not have the aftermarket support the revo does not even close, that might be a consideration.
