There are a few screw distributors around the Elk Grove industrail area, I will ask my dad and tell you if these distributors carry titanium screws. If yes you can go to the distributor and buy them. [sm=RAINFRO.gif]

self taping screws have a starter tip, usually like a drill bit that helps guide tyhe screw in, whereas machine screws are tipically flat at the tip

Screws can add a lot of weight if they are made out of steel. When they are titanium they are lighter/stronger, thus resulting in a lighter car [sm=idea.gif] RC Screwz sells kits for most popular cars.

You may not notice the weight reduction however when you save a little weight here, and there and over there, it all adds up. Now the lighter the car the quicker it can get to its top speed, do you think if an rc car weighed a million pounds it would go anywhere therefore weight reduction is crucial is achieving good times on the track.
