Default Tire tread direction

I have Dirt Hawg I tires and need to know what direction the tread should travel? There are grooves on the outside edges of the tread that either roll tip first (the tips of the grooves are toward the inside line of the tire) into the ground or tip away from the ground. I think the tips should hit the dirt first to help it grip. Does it matter?

In loose dirt you want the tips to hit first, that way they will spread the loose stuff and give you a better grip. If the edges were to hit first, it would push the loose dirt to the center of the tire and the grip will suffer accordingly. All the cars I have seen with these types of tires come set up this way.
