im having problems with starting my duratrac nitro evader engine. Some one told be some steps and he said check to see if the glow plug or some thing turns orange or glows. Where should i be looking for thig "glowing" and if i dont see it what does that mean. Also is the glow plug in the cylinder thing and is the glow starter the rod thingy. I sound dumb becasue all of you might know this stuff but im a beginer to nitro..I would love you opinions and comments...thanx!

ok the glow plug is located in the cylinder thing ( cooling head) it is threaded hope you have the wrench to take it out, and at the botom the thread is a little wire that goes across the little tiny hole that is suppose to glow if your plug is good if not then eighter your plug is shot or the glow ignitor or the so called rod thingy is not charged or the battery in it is dead and the ignitor has to lock into the top where the little nipple is on the glow plug [8D]

ok...

the glow plug is the thing poking up in the middle of the heatsink, its screwed into the engine



when you attach the warmer to it, u shuld c a spring lite up (careful: reeeeeeeeely hot)

also should this be when everything is on or just when the car is on........also is the thing is glowing and it still isnt starting up then do i get my car tuned? thanx

Is the engine flooding? Did you prime the engine? There should be instructions in the manual for "starting the engine for the first time"

thanx but whats flooding your engine mean...is it when theres alot of gas or water or some other stuff in my engine? yes its primed.
