I have been scouring the web for information on 1:10 scale RC cars, and have not found a really good reliable source that will answer all of my questions. I have a few here that I am hoping you guys can help me with.

I have an old go cart track nearby that I would like to turn into an RC track. I want to purchase cars for people to "rent" for races. I also plan on selling cars and hosting some events etc... but I am at the very beginning stages of all of this.

I have decided that the cars I will be renting will be electric because of price and maintanence, but what to buy is the real question. I see the Tamiya's and the HPI's seem to be the most popular, but what is the most cost efficient? I don't want to just get the cheapest cars. If I plan on renting the cars out, they need to be of quality high enough to pay for :-)

Any suggestions, comments, help?

It's all appreciated.

Default DuraTrax Evader EP ST w/ESC RTR

I have one of these and they run very well. Already hopped up and ready to go. Just buy batteries...chargers and go "rent" em out! It sounds like a great idea you have there!!!!

Thanks for the reply!
These look like great cars, but I was looking for more of a road car since it is an old go-cart track, I do plan on building a dirt track too, but it will be easiest to start with the street track since it is already 90% complete.
