some scorching ones are the rex or top p5 plus or the rb c5bb some might give you different opinions and most will be right but these 2 are the most popular and widely used on most track all over the world and in your words are the HOT ones to get [8D]

There are some great engines that don`t cost a fortune . I use SH .21 7 port engines in my buggies/truggies . They haul butt and don`t take too much out of your wallet. Every race I go to there are at leat 6 people asking me what engine I`m running and compliment on how fast it is. Just my 2 cents .

the sh .28 is a good monster truck engine and thats it . It has a lot of horsepower but lacks on the rpm range . The sh .28 was biult for monster trucks.
