Default How well do they work?

I was wondering how well Garmin GPS systems work for max speed.

They work how they are supposed to...good. The gecko is something you should get for RC use.

we used them in mississippi when we were training for iraq, they worked awesome, didn't work so good in iraq, but the army issue'd GPS systems worked like real crap over there. So we rely'd on the garmins alot.

My dad owns an Emap. It is really cool and I think they are pretty good machines for the money. Garmin is top of the line quality in my mind, cuz my dad's Emap hasn't had any problems that I know of. Go for it!

Appreciate the feedback!

I have heard a lot about how the Garmin's work in an rc car. Many people say they do not work that well for R/C applications.

I also agree, Garmin is a well known company with great quality!
