Bought this for my 11yr old son. It is to low to the ground and I was wondering if any of you pros could give me some ideas on what kind of suspension I could put on here for more ground clearance.

Buggy's are made to be fairly low. You could always change the wheels and tires to lift it a little.

Adding a pre-load adjuster lowers it and reduces travel.

adding prelode clips adds tension and makes the spring slitely firmer and eliminates the squat.....

Heres some pre-load clips http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LX3020&P=RF

But they might not fit on your shocks, I don't now.

Yea, didn't mean to say it lowers it, it allows you to adjust the spring height, in turn making it stiffer which allows you to vary your travel/pre-load.

in other words, there is not much you can do to this particular car to get more clearance other than to try to find a bigger rim\tire combo that will fit the whell hexes.

Yep, pretty much. Buggy's are made to sit low, that's how they achieve more aerodynamic properties compared to trucks.

Unless you're going rock crawling, then I'm not sure if that buggy would need any extra ground clearance to go over most terrain.

My son is using it on a park grounds where I run my MT2 and it keeps getting stuck on sticks and stuff. Bent the chasis in the front when he hit a curb ( very low curb ) that my MT2 would go over without hesistation!

Just lookin for a way to raise it some.

I'm going to try the clips..... if not I'll go with the other advice that was givin!

I would just like to say THANKS to everyone that has tried to help me!!
