Default Running engine temp

I run HPI 15FE engine on HPI MT truck and was wondering the normal running temperature in normal conditions. Assuming air temp 65 to 80 F and humidity 50 to 70%. It seems that my engine runs to hot in those conditions yet running it rich causes it to shut down at higher RPM. The temp I get is between 340 to 365 F sometimes reaching 390F in my normal settings and produces light blue smoke during acceleration and almost clear smoke during idle. Any ideas?

Right first things firse.. what fuel are you using ? what glowplug are you using.
Right my first thought is basicially are you using a clean air filter? if you are not you may need to clean it. i do this by pouring nitro fuel over it then letting it dry then adding a light coat of filter oil...

secondly have u checked your fuel line for any air leaks and also check the engine case and carburetta seals if they are leaking this may be the problem. also the HEAD SCREWS , that will defineatly cause problems if they are loose..

nitro boost ...
