I wan't to get a good set of hex tools, the cheep ones(hobbico) I bought are worn out after only a month and a half. What's the best to get Losi, Hudy, Integy I want something durable with replacable tips I can actually get down the road if (but hopefully not) needed. any suggestions please.

I have had Dynamite hex wrenches for 8 years and still going . I bought some Losi wrenches 2 years ago for my track box and still strong. I think most top brands are good , I`ve had problems with Power Racing , RD Logics , and hobbico . Ofna and Integy also have some wrenches .

well hudy are said to be the best, but at almost $20 per tool i cannot justify them. i just ordered some integy tools. they were $25 for 5 or 6 hex wrenches and i have heard good things about them. titanium nitride just sounds really durable too...

I have a set of original ALLEN hex wrenches with a hex ball tip on one side, so you can turn the wrench at an angle when the space is limited. I have them for very long time now, usually its the hex bolts that wears out not my wrenches.
For replaceable bits, I don't really like them because usually the bit holder is bigger and can't go in tight spaces, plus its very easy to loose those tiny bits.
Just my opinion.

I have a few integy's and they are holding up nicely. Onlly reason I have them is because my buddy gave em to me.
Best way to go IMO is to just buy good automotive tools. I have a big set of snapon/mac/westward tools for automotive use and they work great for RC and they have lifetime warranty.

HUDY is the king of tools. However since I am all for Sky & Technology I think I will get a tool set from them.

im using the dynamite tools and have had them for about 2 years they rock they have soft grip handles and so far im seeing no signs of them wearing out (even after use as pry bars lol )i have used the intgey tools and dont really like the hard alum handles (look pretty tho)
what made me get the dynamite tools was the price they are like 14 $ a set at my lhc (compared to 29 for the integy set)and i am not disappointed

I have the AE ones, not that impressed. Soon as I get around to it I am getting a different set. There are two things I don't like. One is the end of the handle is open for all kinds of stuff to end up in there, a cap couldn't have been that much to put on them. Second is they are perfectly round and roll right off the workbench...[:@]

Honestly u cant best industrial strength tools, a set of SAE hex drivers from Snap-on is $38.75, plus the metric set is the same price. Not to mention the life time warranty snap-on has on all its tools. so if you break the tool(if you can) just give it back to them and they will replace it free.

$90 for allen wrenches , for rc cars! That is crazy when there are many others that are half that price and below that have a warranty .

im not telling you to buy them. when hudy says that they are the choice of EVERY professional rc team, they arent kidding.
direct quote from the hudy website- "HUDY tools, used by all RC factory teams and champions, are the first and best RC tools"
every factory team cant be wrong... well they could be i guess, but that doesnt seem likely.

another nice thing about my dynamite tools they are roud but have a flat spot on each side also the top or the handel has a swivel so u can rest it in ur habd and spin the wrench (belive me it comes in handey when u rebuild 3 cars in one day like i have it really makes the strain on ur fingers less )

Naturally they are going to say that , so people buy them . Every brand is going to say something to inspire customers to buy their product . Every factory team ? Maybe the teams sponsered by Hudy . I don`t think teams sponsered by Losi , Integy and etc. will be using a brand they are not sponsered by.
Thats like saying a Snap On racing team uses Mac Tools .

I've had a few sets of Tools now, from Intgey - Dynamite- And some Automotive tools from my Full Sized Tool Box......
The Best are Hudy hands down, I snapped the Tips off the Intgey like Crazy,Rounded the Dynamites, And the Automotive Just don't feel that good to be working on my truck for any amount of Time.....
I Should have Spent my Money Once and got the HudySet from the Start.......After 3 Years I've not Broken Or Stripped One yet.....

Money Well Spent!

I can`t belive you rounded the Dynamite set . I`ve had mine for about 8 years and use them at least 3 times a week . Maybe you got a bad set , you know they will replace them for free.

PROFESSIONAL teams don't have to worry about what a set of wrenches cost as they feed to cost back to whoever is sponsoring them and the companies that sponsor them provide them with what ever it is that they make, IE: HUDY supplies all the teams that use their tools with FREE tools to use.
So cost is not a factor to a PROFESSIONAL team.
