What engine do you have? Some engines require longer pull strings than others. Oh, and if you are wondering how hard it is to rebuild a pullstart, its like taking apart a wind up clock and putting it back together. Pullstarts take A LOT of patience to put back together because there is a coiled spring that pulls a spool where the cord is, and you have to put them in at just the right time, otherwise the spool might not hook up to the spring, or the spring might slip out of the housing and you'll have a 5 foot long coiled spring mess.
