First time posting...
Interestingly enough I started RC Car'ing 15 years ago. I built and ran a frog buggy and loved it. I was helping my mother move some stuff around her house and stumbled upon an old box containing my old buggy. I'm now married and have two children (5 and 2), and my kids would love nothing more than to play/watch the old buggy run. I tried to charge the old batteries but like I thought they didn't hold a charge (what was i thinking). I ordered 4 new batteries off of ebay which should arrive next week and need to know if there is anything I need to do to the old clunker besides plug the new batteries in. Have things really changed in the past 15 years? If so (which I'm sure they have), in what ways? What kind of modifications should I be looking at? Thanks in advance.

The car should run fine, I just recently restored by old Rc10 championship edition (Gold chassi). the only thing i had to do was re soder a wire, becuase over the years it was barley hanging on to the throttle wiper (yes it uses a MSC). just cheack at the wires, basically give the car aquick overview, and you should probably lube up some of the bearings, or other moving parts, but it should be fine if you dont.
