Hi all, hope this is in the right spot since there isn't really a drag forum here.

Anyway, I wanted to tell everyone about a drag race event coming up near chicago on July 1st. Please keep in mind, this is not some big
pro-only event. It's about having a good time, and drag racing ANY type of vehicle you have. Any scale, and engine size, electric, nitro, whatever. It's not a sanctioned event or anything, it's just a 'anything goes' drag race.

Here's the flyer for the event. It was a good time last time, here are some
pictures from the last event! My favorite pic is the one with Me, Mike Ogle, and Tim Mohr! =) Both Mike Ogle and rocketsnuffy stole the show.

Anyway, this event should be a blast because it's 1 block over from a REAL car holeshot and burn-out contest! It's being held at a big 4th of july fest which starts on July 1st! (July 1st is the only race date). Several city blocks are close off, and we will be racing on one of them.

Oh yea, forgot to mention, there are also videos on the BigSquid site as well.. someone around here has posted a bunch of them, but incase you are interested, just go to the videos section and check out the 'holtshot' events.

Yea, I have contacted the ISP. The server has been up and down today for some reason. Please try again, maybe give it a few hours. I was just able to get to them, then 10 min. later, I couldn't. Hopefully they get it all fixed soon.
