Default Pro-peak 2500 problems HELP ME PLEASE

I have had a Pro-peak 2500 for a bit now, and today it has decided to mess about. It works fine on 12v, when you charge it from the house plug it doesn't work at all. The green glows for about 1 second then goes out. I have checked the fuses any ideas?

And it was second hand, so no gurantee with it

Please reply

Adam

I have opened it up, a bit of the board looks like it has blown, and the metal on the board has snapped

Haven't got a clue what to do, should i go to my local eletrical shop and see what they can do?

Going to the electrical shop definately wouldn't hurt the situation, it can only help.
