Hi! I plan to get an offroad 4wd RC truck price range from 100-200 ready to run, with batteries and stuffs. I find there are so many brands, so which brand do you recommend and fall in that range ? thanks

For the price range your interested in....your pretty limited in what is available. Here are a couple of trucks you might be interested in.

If you get the Stampede I would also buy the bearings at the bottom of the page. It will keep friction down and help the truck to roll much better.

The E-Maxx is the better truck. If you can come up with the money...this is the truck I would recommend that you buy.

In my own opinion....I think the EMaxx is the best electric 4x4 truck made. I own one and am very impressed with it's performance. It has such brute power that it will flip itself over from a stand still position. It also has a two speed transmission which enables it to reach speeds around 30 + MPH. It handles like a dream....is a very tough truck....has an awesome paint job....good suspension. Also....realize that it takes two 7.2 volt batteries to run it so your going to have that cost also. And along with that you'll also need a battery charger to keep your batteries charged. If you decide to go with the EMaxx let me know as I have a good link to a source on eBay where I buy all of my batteries.

Good Luck!

Check out the HPI RS4 MT. It's a decent 4wd electric stadium truck. There's plenty of aftermarket parts available for future upgrades that won't break the bank. I've seen ready to run (less battery and charger) sell for as little as $150 on ebay. Check out hpiracing.com to get a feel for what they have to offer.

Good luck,
