When turning the nut you also have to hold the gray metal slipper pads to keep it from spinnig

Ok so i did something bad. I kept turning the nut to get the spur off to the left a lot but then noticed i wasnt getting anything off. Instead of replacing a gear, i just moved the motor to get it to mesh with the stripped gear cause it still felt like it was meshing properly. I then decided to take it out and thats when something weird happened. When i give it full throttle it goes so slow. I dont know if it is because i kept turning the nut to the left or what it is. If you could help me that would be really good.

Sounds like you actually loosened the slipper....just tighten the nut back up and check to be sure it has some slip when finished. Don''t lock the nut down, you don't want the motor to slip more than 2 - 3 feet.

Thanks
