Default 18ss temps?

I have the RS4 3 18ss with a TSA silver bullet exhaust, RB inovations intake and Venom thermal fail safe

I'm nervous about overheating my engine.[] I have my fail safe set to limit throttle at 260 and it gets right up there within three min.[:'(]

Can someone with this car tell me what there average temps are, so I know to raise my fail safe temp or leave it and figure out why I'm overheating?

dont tune for temps tune for perfomance, my 18ss likes to run a little bit hot, but if you aadd some klotz benol to it, it brings the temps down alot, i usually raise the oil percentage fo my fuel by 2-3% and it really helps out on tuning and temps, but my 18ss liked to run around 270-280, then again i was running on crappy blue thunder fuel that was all synthetic, get some more castor oil in your fuel and it should help out ( also cut more air ventilation holes if there arent too many)

benol is castor oil, castor oil is the best oil you can get in your fuel, once you build up a layer of "varnish" as some people calle it, it acts as a protective layer like teflon, if you want more details PM Fuelman and he will tell you everything good about castor oil

you can find it at most motorcycle shops where they have dirtbikes/racing carts
