I couldn't find anything on this so I'll take a shot and start this thread.


OK, so what's the deal.

Someone with an electrical background please explain why one is better than the other.

I have searched around and can't find a straight definitive answer.

There are lots of reasons one may be a better choice than the other, since everyone else will tell you about the advantages of sxs packs I'll go for the other ones.

Stick packs

cheaper,
in certain chasis it is only thing that'll fit .
is stronger in certain chassis like the ones that use the batt perpendicular to the chassis.
