I highly doubt it, but, does the temperature around you matter (I am not talking about engine temp.) when you are breaking in an engine? Any specified temps? Thanks.

Low ambient temperature will not affect your ability to break in an engine. The important temp is that of the engine. The only downside to breaking in a motor when it is cold (such as Michigan this time of year) is that it will be harder to start and keep running. Nitro fuel is ignited through compression and heat. If the engine temperature is too cold, the glow plug will not retain enough heat between cycles to ignite the fuel on it's own. You can always leave the glow igniter on the plug to remedy this.
